Joined the team that planned and facilitated a multi-day design-thinking workshop that explored the question: how might Genentech excite kids in South San Francisco about science? This event included employees, local stakeholders, science education experts, and silicon valley personal tech companies. The results of this human-centered initiative informed the creation of the company’s philanthropic strategic plan around education and was approved by Genentech’s board.
